Rules of the space
- Clapham photo studio is open from 8:00 to 23:00 seven days a week by appointment.
- The studio should be booked in advance.
- The studio is shown by prior arrangement daily from 09:00 to 21:00, strictly provided that the hall is free, or during a break between rentals.
- The rental time starts from the moment the booking time starts and ends 5 minutes before the end of the booking time. Please hand over the studio after the shoot in the state in which it was before you.
- Please change into clean replacement shoes if the weather is bad outside, or wipe away your marks.
- The make-up table is located in the room; the time of its use is included in the total rental time. It is not possible to rent the make-up table separately.
- For security purposes CCTV is in operation at all times on the territory of the studio. The recordings are viewed by management only in disputed situations or at the request of the client in cases of theft or damage to property.
- There can be no more than 12 people in the room at the same time (including photographer, videographer, make-up artist, assistants, etc.).
- For damage and breakage of studio equipment and accessories, the client bears full financial responsibility and compensates for losses in agreement with the studio administration. At the end of the shoot, the equipment is always checked by the administrator.
- Furniture and interior items in the studio may differ from the photos on the site.
- If the client delays subsequent clients for any reason, the delay is charged at £15 for every 10 minutes.
- In case of soiling, damage or destruction of any property and props of the studio, the full cost of damage, equivalent to the market value of repair, cleaning or replacement, must be reimbursed.
Please be careful
- Please never try to change the black or white background on the right side of the studio! It is a wide 355cm background and weighs about 40 kg — it is dangerous for you.
- The mirror can only be leaned at an angle and only against the wall; it cannot be leaned against any furniture.
- It is prohibited to turn on or keep on flashes or video lights with closed lids — the lids will melt and this is a fire hazard!
- It is not allowed to use polyboards horizontally, put anything on them or lean on them.
- It is prohibited to stick tape to the floor or other surfaces in the studio except for the white paper tape provided by the studio.
- Flashes and any other electrical devices should first be turned off with the button and only then unplugged. Please never unplug them while they are on — they may burn out.
- Please leave the studio after your work as you found it, clean. If cleaning is needed, the fee is £60.

- A large curtain for changing is available
- Coffee machine and kettle in the corner, help yourself!
- Free parking available: you can park on the street, it’s free for up to 3 hours. You can park near the building in any space except “reserved, flats, studios” with no time limit.
- In-house catering and alcohol must be agreed upon in advance.
- Pets are welcome. Please allow extra time in your booking for cleaning after a shoot with animals.
- The studio can be fully darkened with blackout curtains.
- There is no lift. The studio is on the first floor, reached by a wide spiral staircase — easy to carry large equipment up.
- The nearest cafe is Roha, a 5-minute walk away.
Cancellation policy
- Cancellations within 24 hours after booking confirmation will receive a full refund; this excludes events starting within 48 hours.
- Cancellations 7 days in advance will receive a full refund.
- Cancellations 7 days to 24 hours in advance will receive a 50% refund.
- Cancellations for events starting within 24 hours are non-refundable.
- The date of a confirmed booking can be changed to another date at least 7 days in advance, at no cost.
