Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Clapham Studio (“we”, “us”) collects through this website, why, and what rights you have. Clapham Studio is run by Julia Novikova, Studio 27, Royal Victoria Patriotic Building, John Archer Way, London SW18 3SX. Contact: julia.novikova.photo@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
Chat assistant. If you use the chat on our website, we ask for your name and email address and keep the conversation. We use this to answer your questions and, if needed, to reply to you by email. A copy of each conversation is sent to our email inbox. The chat answers are generated by an AI service (Anthropic), which processes the messages on our behalf to produce replies. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering enquiries, and steps taken at your request before a booking.
Analytics cookies. With your consent only, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, approximate location, device type). You can accept or reject these cookies in the banner and change your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Legal basis: your consent.
Bookings. Online bookings are handled by Setmore. When you book, Setmore processes your details under its own privacy policy, and we receive your booking details to provide the studio hire. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
Email and WhatsApp. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we use your details only to reply and to manage your booking.
Embedded content. Our pages include a Google Map and a link to a 3D tour (td360). These services may collect data under their own policies when you interact with them.
Who we share data with
Only with service providers that help us run the website and studio: Cloudflare (website hosting), Anthropic (chat assistant), Google (Analytics, Maps, Gmail), Setmore (bookings). We never sell your data.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; in that case they use legal safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or adequacy regulations.
How long we keep it
Chat conversations and emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry or booking and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless the law requires longer (for example, accounting records). Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email julia.novikova.photo@gmail.com.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk.
